Deleting a Profile (Technion Tutorial)

Deleting Profiles (Technion Tutorial)

Operators on your Keto Harvester may change. Or perhaps you want to create a new profile, but have already reached the system limit of six. Whatever the reason, deleting a profile might be necessary. In this tutorial, we will cover just that. Watch the video below or read on for a step-by-step guide.

NOTE: you need to have owner or service level clearance on your Technion xLogger system in order to delete a profile. You also cannot delete the service level profile created on your computer during the initial system set-up.

01. Open the Main Menu

Boot up the xLogger system and log in to reach the main screen. Select the three stacked horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of your screen. Hitting “OK” on your navigator or tapping that area of the screen* opens the main menu.

02. Open the Operator Menu

Use the navigator to highlight “Operator” from the main menu, then hit “OK”. Alternatively, tap the the appropriate menu item on your screen*. This opens the operator menu.

03. Select a Profile to Delete

The top row of tabs shows you all of the existing operator profiles saved on the xLogger system. Make sure that the account you wish to delete is highlighted (light blue in the example above). This is not necessarily the active account (indicated by a green circle next to the profile name in the top row of tabs).

04. Select the “Information” Tab

Using the navigator or by touching the appropriate area on your screen*, select the “Information” tab in the second tab row of the operator menu.

05. Select “Remove Operator”

By using the navigator or by touching the appropriate area on your screen*, select the “Remove operator” button on the information tab. Double check to ensure the profile you want to delete is highlighted in the top row of tabs. The service level profile cannot be deleted. It is not always called “Service”, the name may vary depending on the initial set-up of your system. However, if you are attempting to delete the service level profile without knowing, the error message below will appear.

Otherwise, you will be asked to confirm whether or not you really want to delete the profile in question. You can select “yes” or “no” but tapping the appropriate area on your screen* or selecting the desired option with the left or right buttons on your navigator and hitting “OK”. By selecting “Yes”, you delete the highlighted profile in the top row of tabs.

Profile deleted.
